PEER a performative dance film in 5 comparisons with motives of Ibsens Peer Gynt and today



A split screen, on both sides the same settin - cove with lighting composed around, red-white light, fog, maybe projection, a floating room, different interior from picture to picture but really clean and minimalist, same slow two minutes dolly shot for each double split screen picture from close up to total view


Peer, the main character, who is seen as the prototype who internalised society’s performance pressure by millennials mint by the imperative of self-optimisation. Self-aggrandisement and actual happening are only hard to separate. It also could be a fast go-through daydream. The substratum of a narcissistic-escapistic generation.
