Installation

The video would be shown as an installation in the space of L6. It should be in correspondence with the other installations. The installation would be rather small, but it would be charming if the whole arrangement of videos, objects (like sugano's rack) and architectural elements (like the wall, and wallpaper) etc. tell some sort of loose story line. Fragments of the performance video could appear in my other work, but not necessarily. So far I don't see the potential to extent this into a 10min video and I prefer the installation idea.

installation concept

- a robotic arm holds a phone or tablet running the performance video

- the movements of the arm mimic the movements of the camera between shots (like in the example video)

- the viewers would have a sense of 3-dimensionality, which is an illusion created by the synchronicity of movements
